Dr Imtiaz Bahar Chowdhury

President, BAMSSA

Dear Members and Friends of BAMSSA,

BAMSSA has long been a beacon of unity and service within the Bangladeshi medical community in South Australia. Our mission is to enhance the professional growth of our members, contribute to the well-being of our community, and promote the principles of unity and knowledge exchange. Together, we have achieved significant milestones in these areas.

As we embark on a new journey, my vision for BAMSSA is one of continued growth, innovation, and meaningful impact. We are committed to providing educational opportunities that empower our members to excel in their medical careers. Our cultural events will celebrate our heritage and foster a strong sense of community, while our philanthropic initiatives will make a positive difference in the lives of those in need.

This year, we aim to strengthen our role in health advocacy, engage in collaborative projects that benefit the wider community, and expand our network of like-minded professionals. We will continue to prioritize educational initiatives, supporting the academic aspirations of our members and aspiring students.

I encourage each of you to actively participate in BAMSSA’s activities, share your expertise, and collaborate to realize our collective goals. Your contributions, no matter how big or small, are essential to our success.

I look forward to working closely with the dedicated executive committee and all our members to make BAMSSA an even more vibrant and impactful organization. Let’s join hands and work tirelessly to make a positive mark on the healthcare landscape in South Australia.

Thank you for your trust, support, and commitment to BAMSSA. Together, we will make this year a remarkable chapter in our journey.
